Technology Seminar

The Cleantech technology seminar focuses on Cleantech technology, which ACAMP defines as any technology that incorporates diverse microsystems and nanotechnology-based science to enhance operational performance, productivity, or efficiency, while also reducing costs, energy consumption, and pollution.

The ACAMP Seminar Series is a series of quarterly technology commercialization events aimed at bringing together Alberta's innovation community. Designed, hosted, and launched in 2009 by ACAMP, this innovative seminar series will cover four themes: Cleantech, Health and Medical, Conventional Energy, and Agriculture and Forestry.

Cleantech 2013

ACAMP is proud to announce its next quarterly seminar focused on Cleantech industries. The seminar will be held in Edmonton on March 13, 2013.

Cleantech, as defined by ACAMP, is any technology solution that incorporates diverse micro and nanotechnology-based science to enhance operational performance, productivity, or efficiency while significantly reducing costs, energy consumption, waste, or pollution (a.k.a. negative ecological impact).

Our seminar will focus on advanced materials & alternative energy solutions including new materials for weight reduction and insulation, solar & wind power, fuel cells and energy storage.

Seminar presentations will cover four areas: Technology, Applications, Companies and Financing.
